Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regulatory Compliance Analyst monitors regulatory requirements impacting the company. The Regulatory Compliance Analyst is responsible for analyzing and documenting requirements, communicating and educating business areas, developing training programs to ensure an understanding of requirements, and working with business areas to modify operations, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance under the direction of Compliance Leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain the Compliance department regulatory tracking database.
  • Monitor, analyze and perform research related to state and federal laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Create and implement compliance tracking, trending, and reporting tools.
  • Research regulations by reviewing regulatory bulletins and other sources of information.
  • Keeps other departments abreast of requirements by researching regulatory requirements.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Provide support in the development of policies, procedures, and other operational changes necessary to comply with requirements.
  • Support the operational areas in the implementation of policies, procedures, and other changes as required.
  • Perform internal audits and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure a clear understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate the Knipper C.H.A.R.T. values through professional behavior and daily job performance.
  • Participate and perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Associates Degree
  • Experience in pharmacy operations, pharmaceuticals or related field
  • Regulated industry experience

 

PREFERRED:

  • Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience
  • Pharmacy Technician license or registration
  • Compliance experience

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Ability to learn quickly, solve problems, and make recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Very good communication and writing skills and customer service or auditing experience.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and accomplish them in a timely manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to learn internal software programs.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Occasional travel
  • Noise and/or vibrations exposure
  • Stand and sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to lift and move up to 35 pounds
