The Pricing Analyst will be responsible for leading and facilitating all pricing operations that pertain to two of the company’s business units (third-party logistics and pharmaceutical sampling). The individual in this role will lead/support all pricing processes including the development and maintenance of pricing models along with strategic renewal/repricing analyses for new opportunities and existing client base. Furthermore, this position will support various other financial processes, including budgeting/forecasting, profitability analysis, and scenario/sensitivity analysis all while working closely with key business/operations stakeholders to provide financial insights and forecasts for the organization.

 

Hybrid role can be based out of our Somerset, NJ or Louisville, KY offices

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Primary point of contact for all pricing quote requests from sales executives, group team leaders, and team leaders across the organization’s third-party logistics and pharmaceutical sampling business units
  • Manages RFP (request for pricing) process and development to ensure proposals are in line with pricing objects and corporate strategy
  • Analyze existing client accounts for repricing opportunities/alignment across the organization
  • Utilize market data in collaboration with leadership input to identify/align pricing competitiveness
  • Lead all pricing efforts tied to customer contract renewals in line with internal key stakeholder input and overall corporate strategy
  • Work with operations, finance, sales, and other functions to identify associated resources, volumes, and cost inputs required to compile an accurate and complete cost/price/margin proposal
  • Provide strategic and ad-hoc financial analysis support on items such as customer/service offering/business unit profitability and scenario/sensitivity impact analyses
  • Collect and consolidate financial data from key stakeholders during financial forecast and budget cycles.
  • Support the month-end financial close process through variance-to-forecast and trend analysis.

Qualifications

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Training: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field strongly preferred. Equivalent business experience will be considered

Business Experience: 5+ years of related, practical experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
